Collaboration Benefits the Entire Care Team

By Kurt Johnson Photography • October 20, 2024

The energy at this year’s Healthcare Design Conference (HCD) and Expo in Indianapolis, IN was palpable.  Enthusiasm for the power of thoughtful care, meaningful design, and emerging innovations was around every corner.

Philip Frangenberg, of Frameworks, is our framing partner who handles almost all of our framed art & canvas installations.  He created our joint display for this year’s HCD booth. Philip and his wife, Sydney, own the business, which has been around since 1975. They’re a wholesale picture frame moulding and picture frame supply distributor, and their work always makes us look good.

HCD was a reminder that every space a patient comes in contact with matters.

Maybe it’s a positive distraction in a waiting room. . . or vibrant nature images down a long hallway that helps you figure out where you’re going.

All of these things play a role in the experiences of the entire care team.  And when your walls become part of the care team, that’s when you know you’ve done something right.

And that’s the reason we participate in events like these.

It’s a way for us to meet others in the healthcare design industry who are as passionate as we are about making health and wellness a priority in communities across the country.

These connections lead to partnerships with professionals from various backgrounds such as architects, engineers, healthcare administrators, designers, policy-makers, and furniture, flooring, and lighting manufacturers.

This type of networking is inspiring and it fosters collaborations.

Collaboration in healthcare design enhances the quality, efficiency, and impact of projects, benefiting everyone involved.

It’s an opportunity to share ideas, discuss challenges, and form partnerships leading to creative design solutions for healthcare projects – all while bringing the healing power of nature indoors where it can do things like:

  • Lower anxiety in patients
  • Reduce the need for pain medications
  • Facilitate faster recovery times
  • Rejuvenate stressed healthcare workers
  • Improve wayfinding
  • Retain staff
  • Lead to moments of awe

Pretty powerful stuff, right?!

The Healthcare Design Conference and Expo is an important way to stay at the forefront of industry developments.  Being on the cutting edge of what’s new and anticipating how we can help healthcare environments provide the absolute best care to their communities is central to what we do.

Our team is always working with industry leaders and coming up with creative solutions for healthcare facilities, whether they’re focused on pediatrics, behavioral health, senior living, or anything in between.

Listening to you is how we’ve come up with some of our most innovative solutions, like our Impressionism line, vector graphics, corner wraps, color slices, high-resolution panoramas, and Layered images.

We don’t specialize in all areas of healthcare design, but bringing the healing power of nature indoors through high-resolution, unique, calming imagery is kind of our thing.  We handle all the details, so you don’t have to.

So as we celebrate our 20th year in the healthcare design industry, we truly feel like we’re just getting started.  We’re always looking to the future.  We’re grateful for the amazing partners we’ve worked with over the past 20 years and the new projects we’ll be able to share with you this upcoming year.

We’ve already booked our tickets for HCD 2025 in Kansas City and can’t wait to see you there!

Send us an email and let us know what you’re most looking forward to at next year’s event.

We’re ready for more advancements in technology, more opportunities for creativity, and of course, more collaborations with enthusiastic partners like you. Because when businesses collaborate the entire care team wins.
