Vectors

The best solution when you need to go big.

Vectors are interpretations of our images with a more stylized sensibility.

They’re created by taking standard photographs and converting them to graphics by mathematically dividing sections of color, shadows, and light into distinguishable areas.  Vectors look similar to the original images but with an artistic flair.

Original Photograph.

Pixel-based photographs have limitations when it comes to blowing them up to cover large wall spaces.

The primary advantage of vectors is their ability to go really big without losing detail or clarity.

Unlimited Potential.

Vectors are great options for covering large wall spaces, like hospital corridors and lobbies.  The image above shows how The University of Nebraska Medical Center’s Psychiatric Emergency Services Facility in Omaha covered a winding corridor leading to the waiting area.  The soothing vector UNMC chose serves as a positive distraction for patients, visitors and the entire care team, creating a welcoming environment that improves outcomes and supports healing.

Fully Customizable.

Vectors can be easily manipulated to match any color palette.  The above images where matched to specific paint colors for Allina Health and used as a wayfinding tool throughout this hospital in Minneapolis, MN.  Whether you’re looking for images to match wall colors, fabrics, furniture or even corporate branding, the flexibility of vector graphics makes them a great choice for any wellness environment.

The thing about vectors is from a distance, you can’t always tell the difference between a vector and the original photograph.  But as you get closer, it gets more interesting.  And enlarging vectors for large wall spaces is where they really shine.

Healthcare facilities want vectors because they’re “bold and fresh” and “no one else has them.”
