Impressionism

Where nature and fine art merge.

Impressionism images are characterized by soft lighting and gentle brushstrokes, enhancing the beauty of their subjects, and blurring the lines between photography and fine art.

Stunning paint strokes.

Multiple sizes and brush types create a true artist’s palette to match your design concept and inspire an environment that is truly a work of art.

A canvas of possibility.

Impressionism images are edited to have a painterly look that evokes the feel of an oil or watercolor painting, enhancing the natural beauty of its subject.

  • Artistic take on nature images

  • Dream-like, creative designs

  • Uplifting distractions for clinics and cancer treatment centers

  • Modern visuals for patient rooms

  • Creative biophilic design

Creating environments that are truly a work of art.

KJP’s Impressionism images were used throughout UNMC’s Nebraska Medicine’s Village Pointe Clinic in Omaha, NE on large-scale wallcoverings, film on glass, and framed art pieces to provide seamless wayfinding and create calming positive distractions for patients and staff.

“Kurt’s Impressionism images were the beacon in the space.”

-Jenn Ankerson, Designer, Leo A Daly

Walls that heal.

From waiting areas and stairways to patient rooms and subwaits, NE Med used Impressionism images throughout their facility as a way to support healing.

The artwork tied all aspects of the design together and led to “lots of wayfinding moments,” according to Leo A Daly project manager, Alison Topp.

“Everybody just loves it. They knocked it out of the park.”

-Eric Friesen, Facilities Project Manager, NE Medicine

Healing Imagery.

Most images have a soft, blurred background, creating a sense of serenity and calm, which is sought after in wellness environments. Nature images have been shown to lower anxiety, speed recovery and reduce the need for pain medications.

Soft and Dreamy.

The color and detail of each image shine through, reflecting nature in unique ways and creating positive distractions for patients and staff. This results in health benefits and the reduction of perceived wait times.

Unique. Artistic. Soothing.
